Our very own manager of TJM Mt Isa, Lucian Brown, was crowned 2010-11 Superbowl Champion of the Intercity League last weekend.
Lucian joined the Intercity League in 2009 after a third place win in an amateur league. After finishing last in the North
Queensland Country Zone Intercity Shield in 2010, his men’s handicap team came first in June in Innisfail this year.
During the year scores are kept and then a presentation night is held after the Tournament. This year Lucian bowled most
consistently, winning most of his matches and ultimately making him the overall men’s champion. He’s also been elected
President of the Mount Isa Tenpin Bowling Association (MITBA).
